A heart for others

Last weekend I had the opportunity to attend the Divine Principle workshop with my guests. It happened all very suddenly as they all confirmed to come the night before. It was a very nervous and exciting time in the day leading up to the workshop, trying to best prepare myself to be ready to handle the responsibility. It was a very new experience, the first time that I felt some sort of responsibility for other people’s experience. Especially at the beginning of the workshop, it was very intense, running around between the guests, trying to make sure that they all felt comfortable and were alright with the schedule. With this responsibility , my mind seemed to be totally focused on them, with my feelings always based on how my guests were feeling, while also a constant worry for them was present, wanting them to feel happy and get the most out of the workshop. It was the first time experiencing having nothing else on my mind but taking care of others. It was a real wake up call, being able to understand a bit more, the investment needed through taking responsibility for others. It was definitely a tiring and intense 3 days, but one where the investment could easily be seen.

A day off…..

Hi we are back.

Today was our team building day and after sharing in the team we started our day full of fun and I prepared myself for that. Well we try to have a day full of fun, but after missing the first train we were all quite sad:

When we got the next  train we went off, meeting our great brother Jono. Then we went all together to the science museum. Even some of us where already there it was really interesting and funny for everybody. We looked at everything there:

Because we where mission focused and we didnt want to waste our time for nothing, we tried also to study everything a little bit to create common base:

 After that we discussed things together:

Manly about fundraising stories. Of course fun was not missing we had a great time went also a little bit sight seeing  together and in the end we made a great team picture from our temporary team^^. 

But still the day was not over jet. After finishing with the science museum  and sight seeing  we got invited by our amazing brother Jono Pizza and Pasta all you can eat. 

 We got so full. We probably ripped that place (especially Claire). I gees there where happy when we left. Yes that was indeed a great time . After that we went home. The End…………………………

After bad news comes............. Claire!!!

Hi Guys!

We are back, but with bad news …… for us all!!!
To make it clear, I start from the beginning:

Everybody knows our beloved sister Emmi. 
 We all got the message that she has to leave the team but nobody knew when it will happen. 

So how the time passed by, on a special day, that we never forget, our witnessing leader Matthew received a call:

At his face expression we 
could all sense that we 
will get bad news. 
 
So we all listen carefully 
what 
will happen.

Well most us listen carefull:

After Matthew finished the call he told us that Emmi has to leave the team tomorrow. We all knew it will happen but not so early. We tried to make the best out of it and the sisters where really happy 
to have one more day together:    

But the mission had to continue, so we left at some point Witnessing.

Our Home

After we finished we went all together to
our new house, 
where we will live in future.

In that evening, in our new house, 
our new team member who should 
bring us much fortune in the team arrived. 

And this member is Claire Lacroix: 

 
So at the next day we celebrated 
Claires
coming and said by to Emmi with
an awesome breakfast. We had a great British breakfast with
a music performance from Uncle Bernard:
We all really enjoyed it.

After that……bam bam baaaaaaam the time came to say good buy to Emmi . We where all very sad. 

 

 
                                  Well most of us again:

No just a joke. 
To say the 
truth, it is really sad to see
such an amazing member
leafing out of the door . 
It felt like a family member leaves. 
We all will miss her smile. It was a great time:

Hopefully she has a very nice time in Norway. Well now it’s a new beginning with Claire. The adventure has to continue…..

park cleaning

Heyyy guys! So last Saturday we had a really cool muddy morning. We joined forces with the Bromley church community to help out the local “Friends Of The Park” volunteer group. We helped clean the park: mulching the path, removing cutting and pruning trees, picking up garbage, and so on. It was great meeting and getting involved with the local serving community and working with motivated people. No amount of rain and mud could stop us from achieving our mission..the cleanest park in all of England! Plus the jam donuts and tea totally topped it off. Inheriting the true love of God!!

live lounge

Hi Guys,

if you wonder what happened next in our journey (to save the world) I have some news for you. Do you actually know what a live lounge is? If not, you will discover it soon. As a team we went to the live lounge, not really knowing how it will be. But soon we discovered that it is a music event like a concert. (Would you ever think about that). But don’t get the wrong impression now. Live lounge is a music event not only organized from the Unification movement also from others. Its  great thing that we all enjoyed, there was a incredible atmosphere with great music performer, you could really feel the spirit behind every person. And instead of sitting just around and falling asleep we could really enjoy our time. At some point you enjoy it so much that instead of just listening you get inspired to sing and perform too. So if you feel inspired maybe just join the next performance that will be for sure an amazing experience that you never forget. But believe it or not there was more for us after that than just the event. After the live lounge we had amazing time with people we didn’t  even know. Was everything really cool I really recommend it.

Vawn - the followup

Hey all

So just recently I’ve felt like I could connect more to True Parents Heart. Actually Vawn, our 1^st guest, was super inspired by the DP and how close we were as a family. However I called him up a few days after and he wanted to meet up 4 a Chapter 1 lecture the day after. However on the day I called him up and he just said I’m not interested, bye. At 1^st I took it quite hard. My Heart sank quite low, especially since I had really high belief and hope in him. However upon reflection I realized that I was thinking just about myself and feelings. I realized that True Father continuously gives love to us but we still reject him. His heart is one of a TRUE parent but our heart is Not one of a True son. True parents deserves so much more from us all. . Also the 2^nd gen have to learn to love TP more. I know for a fact that I don’t love TP as much as a strong Christian loves Jesus. I should be able to love TP and Jesus more than anyone. We have the truth. we have the DP and I feel passionate right now to convey this message to you and my bro’s and sis’s out there. until next time !
